An intensive experiential introductory workshop for anyone interested in discovering their healer within and learning self-care techniques to improve their reproductive and digestive health. 

This workshop is also a first level class for professionals who are licensed to touch and want to continue to the next level to learn how to perform these techniques on others.

CEU's provided to massage therapists, midwives and acupuncturists.

Learn a non-invasive, external massage, effective for both men and women, that improves organ function by releasing physical and emotional congestion and creates the opportunity for optimal health and well-being.  LEARN HOW and WHY IT WORKS by examining what an amazing piece of work the human body is! The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy Self Care WorkshopTM incorporates anatomy and physiology, massage therapy, herbs, nutrition, and emotional and spiritual healing into a holistic approach to well-being and health that Dr. Arvigo learned from Don Elijio Panti and other traditional healers from Belize, and integrated with her own educational training as a naprapath.

$350 ($100 deposit to reserve place in class) includes all instruction, a 30 minute individual session focused on the application of the self care to the upper and lower abdomen by an Arvigo Practitioner, and snacks. Class is limited to 9!

This workshop will focus on the ancient wisdom of Maya Abdominal Integrative Techniques. Self-Care Training incorporates a holistic approach to health care that includes:

• Anatomy & physiology as it relates to reproductive and gastro-intestinal health & what happens when our bodies and emotions are out of balance
• A holistic approach to health and wellness that addresses the causes and symptoms of misaligned organs
• Demonstration of self-care techniques and learning how to perform Maya self-care massage for one's self-healing
• Discussion of signs, symptoms & causes of common female complaints including PMS, menstrual pain or dysfunction, endometriosis, infertility, peri- to post- menopausal discomfort, headaches, frequent urination, pelvic pain, fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, low back pain, and more...
• Discussion of signs, symptoms and causes of common male complaints including men's prostrate function, low back pain, erectile dysfunction, varicose veins, the need to urinate frequently
• Discussion of signs, symptoms and causes of digestive and other complaints including IBS, headaches/migraines, low energy, gastritis, restricted breathing due to tension
• Receiving an abdominal treatment and assessment
• Central American herbal information and living foods nutritional information
• Introduction to Maya Spiritual healing, uterine/prostate meditation, and spiritual baths to help with any emotional blockages

It will be a time of nurturing and empowerment for all who attend.
